Job Description
Responsibilities
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure operational readiness.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational issues with machinery.
Repair or replace faulty parts promptly to ensure minimal downtime in production.
Monitor and adjust machine settings to optimize overall efficiency and safety.
Assist in the installation and setup of new machines and technical equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including parts used and labor hours.
Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Keep work areas organized and ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition.
Collaborate with other departments to identify and address broader operational issues.
Follow machine-specific procedures and maintenance schedules as directed by management.
Requirements
Possess a Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering.
Previous experience in machine maintenance or a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to address complex machinery issues.
Familiarity with a wide variety of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic with equipment.
Knowledge of safety practices and adherence to safety standards.
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime or on-call if needed.
